Job Purpose:
The Administrative Assistant / Technical Coordinator is responsible for managing administrative functions, coordinating technical operations, and ensuring seamless workflow between technicians, clients, and management. This is a high-pressure role that requires excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team while handling multiple tasks efficiently.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of administrative and coordination experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle a high-pressure work environment.
- Experience in project management and logistics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Candidate must reside in the areas of Strand, Somerset-West or Stellenbosch.
- Candidates must have their own transport.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the Managing Director.
- Draft and manage invoices, quotes, and high-level reports.
- Maintain organized records and documentation.
- Technical Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate jobs between technicians and clients.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Process and track feedback to improve workflow efficiency.
- Procurement & Supplier Coordination:
- Place orders with suppliers and manage supply chain requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on pending orders.
- Logistics & Vehicle Management:
- Oversee the scheduling and maintenance of company vehicles.
- Ensure proper tracking of vehicle usage and compliance with company policies.
- Project Management:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
- Ensure all project milestones and deliverables are met within deadlines.
- Interdepartmental Communication:
- Liaise with various departments within TSU Group Holdings and associated companies.
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration between teams.
Salary:
Negotiable, depending on experience
