Core Job Purpose

The Regional Senior Inspector is primarily responsible to support the Area Manager and to ensure that all training, fleet and quality control is correctly administered, documented and implemented. Other secondary tasks can include the administration of general related reports and tasks to provide office support to the Regional Operational team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Regional Operations Administrator with the stationery orders and the distribution thereof.
  • Ensure that rostering is fair and comply according
  • Ensure that all sites are covered at all times.
  • Arrange and schedule leave replacements whenever it is needed and update the roster immediately with the latest information.
  • Managing the most cost-efficient options for leave & absenteeism replacements at all times.
  • Ensure clear communication between the Regional Administration Officer and all other parties involved.
  • Ensure that all new uniform orders are collected and distributed to all sites and ensure that old uniforms are returned before distributing the new uniforms.
  • Ensure that all sites are equipped with the correct site equipment.
  • Reporting of any faulty equipment / Radios / Cell phones to the AM as soon as possible.
  • Scheduling of employees for the various training courses.
  • Ensure that all sites have a site file and that it is up to date.
  • Site Audits must be done at least twice a year.

Minimum requirement

  • Grade 12 graduate.
  • Psira registered Grade A.
  • Additional qualification (Advantageous).
  • At least 3 years as a Area Supervisor.
  • Valid driver license.
  • All 3 Firearms Competencies with Business Purposes.
  • Computer literate on all general operating systems (Microsoft platforms), including a swift typing ability.
  • Excellent communicator (verbal, correspondence, report writing, typing).
  • Excellent Organizational Skills: Multitasking, deadlines & well organized.
  • Strong character and must be able to make decisions with minimum input from management.

    Remuneration:
    Negotiable, depending on skills and experience.
